Highly valued in industrial and professional sectors for its versatility, this material is used to produce and engrave plates of various sizes, particularly control panels and applications such as synoptic charts, nautical, aerospace, elevators, railways, front panels, tooling, trailers, doors, mailboxes, emblems, logos, hotels, keychains, floor signs, letters and numbers, among others.
It has a matte finish and is protected with a plastic film. Its anodised layer, 15 microns thick, provides excellent external resistance, making it impervious to atmospheric agents. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
This material can be cut with shears or saws; it can be drilled, countersunk, edge finished, bevelled, trimmed and punched. Engraving is done with milling, diamond or laser, with darker colours being more suitable for laser engraving as they provide better contrast and legibility. Cutting is done with milling.
