Melamine is a highly valued material due to its versatility and wide range of uses. It’s ideal for engraving all types of signage, in any size: door plates, letterboxes, hospitality and service industries (hotels, restaurants), keyrings, electrical panels, flat signs, letters and numbers, cloakroom tags, shipyards, automotive, and building signage, among others.
It’s a rigid melamine-based material, laminated with synthetic resin, and resistant to fire and most chemical agents. Both sides are ideal for engraving –protected with a plastic film– and have a glossy finish in the same colour; the inner layer is either black or white.
The colour range stands out for its vibrant tones, delivering especially striking results. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, offering excellent durability.
It can be cut with a saw, drilled, bevelled, trimmed and screen-printed. Engraving and cutting should be done using a widia or tungsten carbide end mill.
