From Europe to LATAM: NomadTech's journey towards internationalisation

Combining cutting-edge technology with solid technical expertise, we’ve embarked on the conquest of new markets, offering precise, efficient CNC machinery and solutions tailored to the needs of each customer.

In 2021, we launched the first crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter with the OKU Desk desktop laser engraver and cutter, reaching hundreds of people in over 22 countries, thus establishing our initial international connections. Subsequently, in 2023, we repeated the success with the Red Fox 2 CNC milling machine, further expanding our exports and global presence.

Milestones that marked the beginning of our commitment to internationalisation, strengthening our position in the market of digital manufacturing and CNC machinery.

Internationalisation in LATAM and the EU

Recently, we received a visit from ICEX at our facilities in Valladolid. ICEX Spain Trade and Investment plays a crucial role in our expansion plan in markets such as LATAM and the EU, facilitating commercial collaborations and economic opportunities.

We greatly appreciate their support and the resources provided, as well as the valuable guidance of key individuals in this process, such as Jesús García Gutiérrez –Advisor in Colombia–, María del Carmen Riancho –from ICEX Valladolid– and Salvador Ruiz de Zuazu –from the ICEX International Growth Department–.

In addition, our participation in ICEX Next –a program aimed at SMEs and startups– has been fundamental, with Joaquin Granero playing a key role in defining markets and strategies effectively.

Consolidation in Peru with Ion Plasma

We’re delighted to share a significant milestone in our internationalisation in LATAM, specifically in Peru.

In 2022, more than 40 Red Fox milling machines were delivered to the Andean nation, where the Ministry of Education outfitted vocational schools in provincial capitals and higher education institutes with cutting-edge machinery. The objective was to narrow the digital gap and provide the student community with instruction in the latest manufacturing technologies.

This year, we continue to strengthen our presence with a second shipment of eight Ion Plasma PRO machines. A notable advancement representing our growth in the Latin American region.
