This material is ideal for manufacturing all kinds of plaques, from small to large sizes: doors, mailboxes, identification tags, pets, taxidermy, professional plaques, logos, floor signs, cut numbers, circles, ovals, keychains, pet plaques, bulletin boards, directories, interior signage, and more.
Its Cu59 / Zn39 / Pb2 composition provides the typical yellow tone of brass, while the 2% lead content gives it the necessary ductility for clean engraving without burrs. Its half-hard condition allows for deep drawing. It has a satin finish, lacquered to prevent oxidation and protected by a plastic film. While it’s especially suited for indoor use, its medium resistance allows for outdoor applications.
It can be cut with shears, drilled, punched, die-cut and cornered. Suitable for engraving with diamond and end mill; it can be darkened with Latonxide.
