Introduction to the drawing workspace.

4. From CAD to CAM

The manufacturing workspace and machining setup.

5. 2D and 3D machining

Strategies for each and the tool library.

6. Toolpaths

Generating, simulating and post-processing them.

7. Complete projects

Four-part dump truck, corporate sign and 3D milling.

8. Tricks of the trade

Tips, advice and a process sheet.

9. NomadPanel

Sending the job to the milling machine.

10. Extra

Calculating milling parameters, useful links and downloads.

Requirements

  • Knowledge: no CAD/CAM knowledge required.
  • Software: Autodesk Fusion 360. Not included; the course explains how to get it. Windows only.
  • Machine: the design part can be followed without a machine; to mill you need a CNC milling machine.
